Located in La Esmeralda, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Costa Esmeralda House was designed by BAK Architects, and completed in 2011. This summer house is designed in contemporary style by using the concrete material as the building construction. Long rectangular residence contains the spacious area within it. The idea of keeping the original color of the concrete surely reveals the warm nuance inside and gutsy outlook at the outside. Open building with large glazed facades gives the beautiful summer atmosphere from the surrounding environment. The hung building with open area at the bottom brings the strong and modern home design. Spacious area within it gives the convenient living area with compact decoration.
Placed on the large terrain with green trees, this summer home applies the concrete material in its origin for showcasing the gutsy appearance. Flying building with open area at the bottom emerges the striking outlook. To lead into the upper area, the strong concrete stair is made in naked decoration. Glazed wall with wooden shading gives the enough lighting from the outside. The empty area at the second floor is used for creating the balcony with simple roof garden at the edge of this area.
Living room is designed by using simple sofa in similar color tone with the wall with fireplace within the concrete mantle. Behind it, simple wooden furniture with glazed countertop arranges the dining area. Concrete interior walls separate each room. Powder room is placed at the front of living room behind the concrete wall. Still in similar room decoration, the use of white sink and wall mirror brings the elegant and spacious area. Bedroom with red bed and wooden divan brings the colorful accent within the concrete wall with glazed wall beside it.
This summer residence becomes the convenient place to enjoy your summer time. The building construction of the concrete material gives the warm nuance during the hot temperature of summer. Gutsy outlook that is revealed by this building gives the impressive object along the large terrain. The open plan of glazed wall continues the natural energy to fulfill the entire building.
